Stressful isn't it? You don't want any of them to feel like they are not as important as the one you've chosen. And wether you like it or not, you really have to choose one among them.

First Step - Be Honest

First, tell them that those who are invited to that meeting are the one's you considering to be your maid of honor, but you only have to choose one. Discuss with you potential maid of honors if they feel they can commit to your wedding preparations and the duties required of them leading up to and on your wedding day. If their lives are too hectic, they may take themselves out of the running which will make your job easier.
